Google Business Profile
Google Business Profile management in South East Florida
It is the first thing a customer sees and usually the last thing anybody maintains. Most profiles we score come in under half marks.
The one thing to do
Tell us where to call.
Fifteen minutes, no deck, no sales sequence. We call you back within 1 business day.
What compounds
Seven areas, scored the same way every time
The scoresheet is fixed on purpose. Areas are never added or reordered to flatter a particular profile.
Categories first, always
The primary category is the number one local pack ranking factor, and a wrong one is the number two negative factor. It is the highest-value single field on the profile.
Hours, address, completeness
Open at time of search is a top-ten factor and having no hours is a named negative one. Cheap to fix, fast, and almost nobody sells it.
Reviews, photos, services
Rating verified by sorting lowest-first rather than assumed, owner photos counted against customer ones, and the services section checked for real descriptions.
Then the score, out of 14
Two points per area. Out of 14 rather than 16 because Google discontinued the Q&A section: any audit still scoring it was written before December 2025.
The part nobody advertises
Google edits your listing by itself, and does not tell you
Categories change. Hours change. A description gets rewritten. These are automated, AI-sourced edits to your profile and no notification is sent, so the first you know is when the calls drop. Watching for those edits and reverting them is the least glamorous thing on the monthly list and quietly the one that matters most.
A profile left alone decays.
What is included
What you actually get.
- The audit, scored out of 14
- Seven areas, what was observed, what it costs, and the fix
- A ranking baseline
- Three target terms recorded before anything changes, so after is comparable to before
- Setup, in evidence order
- Categories, hours, address decision, all 750 description characters, photos and services
- The review request, fixed
- Any "only if you are happy" condition removed — that is review gating and it risks every review you have
- Four posts a month
- One a week, each with a photo, a named service, a named town and a button
- Every review answered
- In plain language. Negative ones drafted and sent to you before they go up
- Listing-integrity monitoring
- Google's own automated edits caught and reverted
- A monthly call report
- Calls from the profile, from Google's call insights, next to the ranking series
How your Google Business Profile runs
Four stages, in this order, for a reason.
- 01
Score it
Read signed-out, the way a customer sees it. No access needed, so you can check every finding yourself in ten seconds.
- 02
Fix it
Six actions in the order the evidence supports, not the order that is quickest.
- 03
Hold it
Posts, reviews, photos, and the automated edits Google makes caught and reverted.
- 04
Measure it
The same three terms every month from a clean browser, plus actual call volume. Moves down get reported too.
Questions
The ones people actually ask.
Answered the way we would answer them on a call, which is to say without the parts that only sound good.
Do you need to own my profile?
No, and we never take ownership. Manager-level access only, granted by you and revocable by you at any time. If any agency asks to own the listing, that is the answer to whether you should use them.
What does the audit actually cost me?
Nothing, if the work follows: the fee is credited in full against the setup when you book setup within 30 days of getting the report. If it does not follow, you keep a scored document you can hand to anybody. We quote the figure on the call.
Why is it scored out of 14 and not 16?
Because the Q&A section is gone. Google discontinued the Q&A API on 3 November 2025 and the public section began deprecating on 3 December 2025. Any audit still scoring Q&A was written before that and is measuring something that no longer exists.
Should my street address be showing?
If you have legitimate, publicly visible premises, yes — address showing rather than service-area only is now a top-ten factor, which reverses the older advice. What is never acceptable is a PO box, a mail store or a virtual office. That is the single highest suspension risk there is.
Do Google posts actually help my ranking?
Honestly, they are a weak ranking factor and we will not claim otherwise. They are on the list because an active updates section beats a dormant one, and because the finished-job photos they need feed the photo deliverable at the same time.
Can you get me more reviews?
We fix the request so it goes to every customer unconditionally and give you a short link. What we will not do is write a request that asks only happy customers to review. That is review gating, it is a named suspension risk, and the published penalty is removal of every review on the profile — not only the gated ones.
The one thing to do
Fifteen minutes on your Google Business Profile, and a straight answer.
Leave a number and we will call you back. If your Google Business Profile is not actually your bottleneck, we will tell you what is instead.
We call the number you leave, once, within one business day. If you miss it we try once more and then leave you alone.
Fifteen minutes. You talk, we ask questions about what you are spending and what is coming back. There is no deck.
You get a straight answer about whether we can help. If the honest answer is no, or not yet, that is the answer you get.
